Forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair.
-Khalil Gibran
In today’s life, where every day is a run towards a goal that moves only farther and farther from us with time, we are slowly losing out on the simple pleasures of life. The touch of morning sun on your skin, the whispers of of wind in your ear. The flower basking in the morning dew, the earth effervescing with the first rain of the season. And my once favorite activity, looking endlessly into a sky filled with shimmering star. Ah, it was a pleasure beyond words.
When did I unlearn to do all these things? When did I become immune to the wonders around me. Below is a rare, very rare, experience I had sometime back, where I was totally immersed in the nature. It was beautiful.
Written last year from a memory of me walking on a river shore. A very short post. Read it here- Lost in the nature
Amazing depiction of nature’s pleasant touch, Nitin.

I think we all tend to forget about the wonders of nature, it’s too easy to do in this modern, busy life of ours
